I’d like to invite you to experience NAB Show in a totally unique way this year by joining me at the 4K 4Charity Fun Run. It’s a great way to kick off day two of the show!
A series of annual fun running/walking events held at NAB and IBC to commemorate video technology advancements and raise money for charity, the 4K 4Charity has seen more than $200,000 donated to date. At NAB this year, the charitable beneficiaries include Mercy Corps, a global humanitarian aid agency, and The Shade Tree, a Las Vegas-based shelter for abused women and children in crisis.
This year’s event at NAB takes place on Tuesday, April 19 at 7:30am. Looping around a 2.49-mile course through Sunset Park, the 4K 4Charity Fun Run offers something to runners and walkers of all classes, including assured disability access.
Worried about the early hour? It’s a small price to pay for all the benefits! By participating in the 4K 4Charity, you can:
- Take a break from the convention center as you run or walk the 4km (2.49-mile) course.
- Enjoy the outdoors and camaraderie with several hundred of your peers.
- Feel good knowing that 100% of your race fee goes directly to charity.
- Stand apart with that finisher’s medal dangling around your neck ; >
Did I mention the convenient and complimentary transportation? You can catch a ride to the 4K 4Charity race location starting at 6:45 am from the Wynn Las Vegas, MGM Grand, Paris Las Vegas, Westgate Las Vegas, ARIA Resort & Casino, The Venetian and The Palms Casino Resort. Buses will also be available afterward to take you back to one of these hotels or to the LVCC.
And, don’t worry. If your show or travel schedule won’t permit actually participating in the run, you can still give. Simply select the “Donation Only” level during online registration.
I know we can count on you to help us support these organizations as they make a difference for those in need! Please sign up today at www.4K4Charity.com/NAB.
