Women Who Code believes in changing the fundamental nature of the technology industry to make it more diverse, fair, balanced, and inclusive, in practice, perception, and population. This will lead to more effective teams, innovative companies and an increase in prosperity for the entire world.

The Women Who Code leadership program helps women gain the skills and experience they need to achieve the next level in their careers by giving them the opportunity to direct events, judge hackathons, mentor, teach and speak at conferences. This helps create the next generation of executives and role models, and ensures a more diverse top-down hiring perspective.

Women Who Code comprises 80,000 members and 60 local networks located in 20 countries. This global community works to support the efforts of every member, and to celebrate their successes and #ApplaudHer’s. The organization has hosted more than 4,200 free technical events, and has given away more than one million dollars in conference tickets and scholarships in the last year.

The work that Women Who Code is doing is more important now than ever. The tech industry needs more diversity, and women need to be empowered to take on leadership roles so that they can guide the future of this vital field. The support of organizations like 4K 4Charity is crucial to our efforts, and by registering for this year’s 4K 4Charity Fun Run at the 2017 NAB Show, you can show your support for Women Who Code.
