The 4K 4Charity Fun Run is a 4km (2.49-mile) run and walk event held in conjunction with the IBC Show in Amsterdam. This unique event offers show attendees a healthy alternative to traditional networking while raising much needed funding for organizations supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives. This year, all proceeds will benefit a local and global nonprofit Stichting NewTechKids and Iridescent.

On-site bib pick up opens at 6:15 am and the run/walk will begin at 7:00 am. The 4km course explores dynamic Amstelpark in Amsterdam. Click here for directions to the start/finish.

After crossing the finish line, participants are invited to stay and socialize with light snacks and beverages. Participants will receive a custom race medal and commemorative shirt.

HOW TO REGISTER

To register for the event and secure your race bib, select a “Runner/Walker” ticket at any of the following donation levels: $20, $35, or $50. Increase your give by adding an additional donation. Can't make it on race day? Contribute without breaking a sweat. The “Donation Only” option starts at $15. As always, 100% of your registration fee is donated directly to our beneficiaries.

AWS Elemental will host early bib pick up at Booth C80 located in Hall 5, on 9/14 between 3:00-6:00pm. Swing by and grab your bib to sleep a little longer on race day!

Stichting NewTechKids is committed to bringing CS and technological literacy education to primary school students in disadvantaged communities whom we refer to as ‘Rising Technologists’. Since 2016, Stichting NewTechKids has established a network of 21st Century Skills Clubs in Amsterdam Southeast which focus on helping girls, children from immigrant and minority groups, and children from low-income families prepare for the future in which technology is integrated into all fields.

Iridescent is a global education nonprofit that empowers the world’s underrepresented young people, especially girls, to become innovators and leaders through engineering and technology. Through their two programs, Curiosity Machine AI Family Challenge and Technovation, Iridescent introduces underserved communities to cutting-edge technologies and empower and equip them to apply these technologies to solve the real-world problems that they face.
