Officially endorsed by SMPTE, this unique event offers show attendees a healthy alternative to traditional networking while raising much needed funding for diversity and inclusion initiatives. 100% of all registration fees and donations are tax deductible and directly support our beneficiary, Girls Who Code. The 4km (2.49 mile) run and walk event is located in nearby Elysian Park, overlooking Los Angeles and held in conjunction with the SMPTE Annual Technical Conference.

Coffee, tea and bib pickup will be available in the Westin Bonaventure lobby starting at 6:00AM prior to the event. Bus transportation departs at 6:30 AM and is provided to and from Elysian Park. A light breakfast will be provided upon our return.

Girls Who Code is a national non-profit organization working to close the gender gap in technology and change the image of what a programmer looks like and does. With their 7-week Summer Immersion Program, a 2-week specialized Campus Program, after school Clubs, and a 13-book New York Times best-selling series, they are leading the movement to inspire, educate, and equip young women with the computing skills to pursue 21st century opportunities.
